I took my new Raptor out to Run it in yesterday. It must have the crappiest suspension on a stock quad.( so much for the upgrade from the normal Raptor) In fact I rode a 2006 model and I am sure the suspension was better than this. I have a 2005 Predator and that suspension straight out of the box was far superior. I managed to get the front end better but the rear still feels like there is no suspension when hitting small bumps at speed. I have never ever had such a bad experience on a first ride with a new quad. Normally stock factory settings are not to far off. I have ordered Ohlins for the front, +2 Lonestar arms and a + 3 Lonestar axle. Everybody that I spoke to said the stock rear shock was fine. Are these shocks tottally rebuildable? I have read the owners manual many times and read the forums relating to this topic but I am still not any closer to knowing what the problem could be. I am planning on fitting 21 11 9 Rear Tires and 22 7 10 on the front. I ride competetively mainly Off-Road/Enduro and weigh 84Kg

There must be 30 different threads on rebuilding the stock suspension. Read through this section and use the search. There are some threads only a few lines down.
