Has anyone used these? Do they affect travel or just ride height? I'm looking to make the the beast a lower center of gravity along with widening. Anyone have thoughts or experiences on these?

They work ok, just stay off the jumps. It'll change geometry so expect differences in effective spring and valve rates. Travel is the same provided you don't adjust it so far out that the link hits the frame of the swingarm before the shock can fully extend (or compress, I can't remember which problem I had).

I use one on the ice, but I remove it for summer dune and trail riding. Never tried it on the strip but I'd imagine it'd have benefits.

What about just doing the rear linkage flip?

Still problematic when you get to jumping as the rear linkage will hit the frame before the full travel. Adjustment also helps if you're trying to tune in the suspension.
