Hay guy's any body make any mods to their air box? like drilling or cutting out some of the plastic to get more air in to the filter, besides just removeing the lid? and if so did you notice any gains? thanks RP

I tried putting those 1" plug filters I think power now makes them. There wasn't any difference unless your running with the lid on. I did it to be able to get as close to lid off air flow but still have the water protection given by having the lid on. This was all before there were any replacement lids available

probably better off buying the ehs lid or the pro-flow. just make sure you have a dobeck or pcIII before pulling it off/using one of those lids.

As I've found, you can also buy some Outerwears material and cut out your own lid, assuming your kinda handy that way.
