The bike is in the shop getting work. all the plastics are off. this is torture. I hope everything fits well.
I knew that carbon is light and all , but this is crazy light! then you try to bend it just a little and it aint happening!

I got a carbonfiber hood for my Integra... I can pick it up and hold it in the air with 3 fingers.

I like it. The stock is ok but that looks like it would keep alot more debris from getting into the radiator. Looks nice and funtional. :thumbsup:

looked on the alba site for that hood and didnt see it all i found was the carbon fiber gas tank cover :3question:

Yeah , the hood isnt on the site. I saw it on an Alba raptor in this months dirt wheels and caled them up. they ordered it from this company in england. Carbon Creations. Something like that

I think it was like $200 for the nose piece and $180 for the gas tank cover.

Are you going to the group ride to Ocala this sat? Like 50+ people going from down here I hear.
They are opening 125 miles of new trails. people from all over florida are going.

I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, but I would be careful of Alba's carbon fiber. They had to stop selling their carbon fiber pipes because they kept falling apart. If you don't believe me, ask them. I realize that you said it was from another company, but just be cautious. I am just trying to look out for you guys.

Thanks would love to take her for a spin dying to try that new shocks a-arms you put on there must be a sweet ride. Also cant wait to compare the to bikes together hopefully I got everything right on my bike this time. I PM you hit me up.

that is is freaking awesome man! Im new to this board and just looking around at ideas of what to do to my 06 700R and I must say this might be one of my future mods.

BTW, I notice Ocala is mentioned. Im currently deployed to Iraq and stationed in Texas but I am from Ocala and used to ride through the forest all the time, I read on another board about them opening up trails. Unfortunetly I wont be home till December but if anybody is interested in riding I would love to throw my 700 in the truck and meet up with yall. Let me know if yall still ride during that part of the year. Later.

hey guys, i realy wanted one of the nose cones, but am a lil put off by what was sdaid about the quality of some of albas CF parts. Could you post an update and let us know how the pieces are holding up?
