Hello All,
ok....I posted a topic on here a few weeks ago thinking my bad running was a result of the reverse wire senario.
that wasnt the case.....
no matter what I did it seems to have a dead spot in the throttle so when I accelerated slow under load or standing still it would bog and want to die unless I gunned it really hard.
Last week in glamis I had to run with just a little bit of choke on and she was fine, but as I would coast down the dunes she would backfire a bit......
Does that mean I'm lean?
I came home, took off the carbs again.....
there was some brown stuff on the inside walls on the carbs, like a hardened film.......bad gas????
I cleaned it good...put it back together...didnt even crank, just started right up, it was beautiful.
I thought...that was it, I solved it, it was the brown crap..........
not so......after it warmed up.....same ol dead spot under slow throttle
I am running 150 and 155 with stock pilots, a s/o pipe and a K/N.......
THOUGHTS........HELP!!!!
Mike
