I pulled the bent steering stem out of my 06 raptor to put in the new houser stem and it just does not fit right.I made sure I was lining it up with the supplied spacer bushing and all.Everything fits fine on the bottom, splines are fine, threads are fine.It just does not fit on the top, when it is tightened down the gusets that come down from the top are actually pushed into the upper bushing piece. You can look at the pics and tell where the busshing rode on the stock stem and it is way above the area marked by houser on their stem.It does sit the bars about 3/4 of an inch taller but the gusets will destroy the upper stem bushing.Any ideas that I am missing or do I just call them and have them send me another one. Thanks

Check the part numbers. You need P/N 060610, and I bet they sent you 060609.

I just went through this, and was told there is a mistake in one of the catalogs.
