Hello everyone,

i recently got off a shipping hitch and wanted to start my ATV to make sure it was still alive. Battery was toast and reconditioning it didn’t help so I bought a new battery. Started up the ATV and she fired right up…until it just shut off after riding it around (hands slipped and let out the clutch in 1st and it died). Now when I go to start it (battery has 12.5v) just a click will happ

Sounds like you have a loose connection at the battery.
It just ran today, lots of clicks and then it started. Didn’t change anything, ripped it around the street for a little bit, shut it off and started it up again. After that last start up I got more clicks

Did you check if your battery cables were tight? If they are I'd check the cables on the solenoid and starter, if they are all tight it will probably be your starter solenoid.
