BEWARE!! of a machine shop that says they can straighten the axle. The taper or profiling on the axle makes it very tricky to straighten something like that out. They could get it close and maybe even bang on but make sure before you pay for it.

the feller got it right on snd only charged 15 dollars but i still dont have it running.

Good job, your lucky. I have seen this turn out very bad for a friend of mine. I also used to work at a hydraulic repair shop and know what it's like at times to straighten a non tapered shaft. There's definatly an art to it. cheers!

As long as it's for a 660 raptor it will work, unless it uses the OEM locknut. Heck, banshee axles work too but there's a small offset.
It is my understanding, after speaking with one of the main guys at Durablue, that there Banshee axles and 660 axles are the same axle and there is still an offset issue for our machines. Isn't the durablue still offset? Terry at Durablue claimed this is the case on their Eliminator axle and as far as the X-33 I forgot to ask, but I plan on it tomorrow. Most of the other axle manufacturers (RPM, Lonestar, and Yamaha) make a different axle for the banshee and a separate design for the 660. I haven't checked with Firestick or the drag axle companies.

One other question: Does the posi-lock and clip replace the old axle nuts?

Hi had a quick question, My hubs are loose after tightening them on. Did everything I was suppossed to. Could it be my bearings or anything else? Thanx Dave

If your hubs are loose on the axle then your issue is either with the splines on the hub or axle or with the torque you used on the nut. The carrier bearings will not impact the hub being loose on the axle.
