What cdi box is recommend for a 720, what works or not. I have stock now and I think it is going bad, acting like my buddies and he replaced it with factory 400.00 later.

Stock or Dyna FS Programmable.

Stock CDI's don't often "go bad", nor deteriorate over time. The CDI is usually the last item I would suspect.

Agreed - if the CDI is generating spark pulses, it is 99.9% odds that it is working fully. I'd be looking elsewhere for any fault first.

I installed the same setup, worked great until a few wires worked their way out of the white connector. Wouldn't hurt to check your connections and slap a little dielectric grease in them.
