Hi Guys, I'm new to the forum and just picked up an 05 350 Raptor. It's running ruff so I took the carb off but I cant get the bowl screws out. Does anyone have any tricks to get these screws out?.

Thanks
Norm

If the carb is out turn it upside down on put a good phillips screwdriver in the screw and smack it a couple of times with a hammer. This works most of the time, unless the heads are stripped out.

Thanks Dino11,
I went down and bought an impact driver and they came out with a couple of whacks from a hammer. Now who makes a good carb kit?.

I just used a pair of plumbers multi-grips and then went down to the hard ware and swaped out the screws for Allen head ones that suit much easie =D

Welcome! Just be real gentle tightening them allen heads. They will strip out the threads in the carb if your not careful. I learned that the hard way.
