Last time I went riding my rear brakes starte squealing. Then I noticed that I have metal on metal. So I need some new brake pads. I went to ebay and I can find rear pads for as low as $7.00 shipped. But then I find "high quality" pads for almost $40. Are the more expensive pads better or last longer. Im not worried about performance but more interested in life span. I just ride rough trails. Does anyone have a brand or material type that is the best bang for your buck?

I like the EBC sintered metal ones, they last long and I really like the feel of them. For the longest longest lasting ones I would say the stock ones last forever.
