ok guys my rear pades were shot. so i am changing them
i went to the store and bought new ones but they are too thick to go in....
i squeezed the caliper back in with a clamp and then i loosened the bleeder to try to squeeze it some more....
no luck

any tips ?

when i did my rear brakes i had to take off that parking brake so i could back it off then i could push the claper piston in more it was only two bolts
to take off the praking prake

i have the cable removed already and i tried moving the brake arm with no luck...

You need to bleed the brake to get the caliper to open up.

I thought i had the same problem (pads too thick). Check and see if your caliper bracket bolt slide pin is seized up. (there are 2 slide pins, A small and large) I just tore mine apart today and had to drill the large pin out of the caliper because it was so seized.
