When you all fitted your 15t front sprockets did you Remove the case saver or of file it down just went to mine to fit the 15t and it looks close to me

Grind it down some.

Mine fit with no grinding. It looked tight but cleared. After the first trip, I pulled it off to see if it clearanced itself at all. Not a mark.

I had to grind mine a bit to fit it on the other mounting hole. Then I ordered a Pro design. $28 on Ebay shipped.

Yeah got the angle grinder too it, it was clear but it was a bit close for me

Ive always beem told NOT to put it in the other hole :lol:.

I grinded mine down slightly, took 3 minutes.

.....there should be NO grinding done when doing the 15T. The stock case saver clears just fine. I have done it to both of your 700's with no problem what so ever.

Oh by the way. i order a case saver and a Tag metal 15t from GOLDEN WEST and still havent received. its been almost a month. Called then and they said its been on back order. bastards LOL should have told me this when i called the first three time..grrrrr later WOODY

I wasnt under the impression that we were talking about aftermarket case savers.

MIne cleared with no issues either, it even helps keep my chain clean since it is so close 8)

you absolutely dont have to grind that case saver it is set up for a 14t or 15t that is why there are two holes at the top. use them.

On mine the second hole made it hit against the case and I did have to grind it where the case was hitting.

Yeah i was talking about the stock i go the same as Dr D if i tried to use the second hole it hit the case the original hole cleared but only by about 1/16th if that, way too close for me but hey im just anal about it :lol:
