I know this convo about stabilizers has came up a few times in 10 y/o threads. 1. Does anyone have any recommendations for stabilizers under $500. Ppl keep saying CCP but i cant find um online after an hr search. 2 do they still make the CCP stabilizer for raptor 700. 3. Anybody wanna sell me a used precision?

CCP still makes them, I talked to him last week.
I had a ccp stabilizer on my ebay watch list that disapeared last week(it sold). I contacted him and asked if there were any more of them, because I want to buy one(as I do).
He said that he would have more for the 700 this week, but I have yet to see any show up for sale.
He also only sells on ebay, and the dampner for the 700 is $199.

If you search CCP steering stabilizer on ebay, 6 will show up for other models right now.
I've been checking daily for a 700 Raptor to pop up so I can buy it.

Precision is the way to go. Expensive but work great.

I had CCP once, now I run the Fastway model from Elka, same design as Precision. CCP was ok I guess, one blew out on me and I rebuilt it. Pretty easy with O rings and correct gear oil.

I just ordered a ccp stabilizer for a 700 a few minutes ago.
It was on my ebay alert when I woke up a couple hours ago.
They are still listed even after I got one too, so he has more at the moment.
Better be quick if you want one.

I had a CCP on mine with good success, and got one for the wife's bike.

Seems like a quality part, well made, easy install, easy to reach to adjust, and has a good adjustment range, from nothing to overkill.
I haven't ridden it yet, and time will tell on durability, but so far so good.

CCP has one stabilizer for a 700 on ebay this morning if anyone is looking.
They sell fast.
Be sure to keep the clamp tight on the steering stem, especially the set screw.
