I'm assuming you're referring to "bright ceramic". When it's used in appropriate applications you will lose a bit of "shine" from about 4-8 inches from the head but it will still remain relatively chrome like.
Unfortunately, bright ceramic isn't appropriate for most high performance ATV's like this. They tend to run far too lean for this type of ceramic. If the pipe is turning red hot, it's too hot for bright ceramic.
Best case scenario the coating will go from chrome like in color to a very dark / dingy grey but still remain thermally functional if it stays there (see below). Worst case, it will past the dark stage and get white / grey in color and start to become sacrificial and flake off.
Your best bet in applications like this is to use a "high temp" ceramic that is capable of sustained temps in the 1700F - 2000F + range.
