I hear taking 4 of the balls out behind the clutches/steels and pressure plate, up against the basket that you can remove make a world of difference in RPM when the clutches are fully engaged. I plan to remove 4 tomorrow. Just removed everything tonight and saw the balls they're taking about. Just take the right foot peg off and take the cover off (after draining the oil), take the circlip out that retains everything in the basket and disassemble. I'm not taking the whole basket off, I plan to lay the quad on it's left side so the balls will be at the bottom and stay in their individual, recessed area.
