I was out at prarie city with some friends last weekend and we raced but my raptor wouldn't shift passed second gear. I tried shifting into third and it got stuck on multiple tries. This only happened when I was really on it. Otherwise, thoughout the day it was fine. Then my friend and his brother went out yesterday and were racing, the same thing happend to both of them. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a defect with the shifter? I have an 05 raptor, my friend and his bro both have 2003's.

No defects with the shifter, you probably need to adjust either the shift linkage or the clutch.
