I bought my friends 03 raptor 660 with a white bros R4 full exaust.Which it was jetted for by a shop he went to.When i bought it I changed the filter from a twin air to a k&n and replaced the lid with a EHS lid.It seems to be running fine.Spark plug reads a little lean.Wondering if i should richen it up or leave it alone???
I also looked at the service history and the valves were never adjusted.Should that be done or if its not broke don't fix it??

Definately adjust the vavles, should be done every 10 hours or so.

Is it popping, backfiring or sputtering? If you're concerned take a look and see what jetting it's got.

A pair of 25 pilots would help your cold starts, short of that you can turn the fuel screws out to richen up the mix at idle.

If you put a nice bend in the feeler guage it's not as bad but it still can be a pain.
