This was the reply as I heard only the tech piston was true comp ratio.
Here's the reply:::

Hello,

I'm not sure what a "tech" piston is, sorry.
Our shelf pistons are the compression ratio they are advertised for when they are installed at whatever deck height the stock piston is. Because deck heights can vary a bit from motor to motor, as well as base gasket and head gasket thicknesses that people use differ, a compression ratio may be slightly different in different motors even when using the same exact piston. But our shelf pistons use the same pin height as the stock piston and therefore will sit in the bore at the same deck height as the stock piston would if all else is stock.
Custom pistons on the other hand can be set up for whatever the customer called out.

Best Regards,
