Does the header actually help out that much versus just having a slip on, and could i change just the cam and gain some power. Im really not wanting to put a piston in the motor.

If you're just trying to get the cheapest thing you can, then get the cheapest thing you can. But if you're trying to improve flow through the head it's not going to work as well if you're still plugged up on the exhaust end.

On a stock motor, a bigger headpipe makes little difference. A ran a Pro Circuit slip-on back in the day, and mine ran just as good as any other full piped Raptor I raced against.
