As the quad came to us. Stock 2006 Raptor 686 we added our standard turbo kit with the second injector upgrade , Direct Drive locker and a +4 SLC swing arm.

We don't post dyno sheets much. Our goal with this build was to just install the turbo kit. Take it for a couple minute ride to base tune it in as per our instructions. Set the boost controller to 13 psi with 110 race gas. After that it was off to an unbiased dyno to make a couple pulls with no tuning or influence from us.

seems turbo spool is some laggy.but in the real world, load and shifting gears turbo spool should be better.

One thing that Bob failed to mention was that this Dyno is at 4500' above sea level. With the twist of a knob you can back this down to 6 lbs and run pump gas through it as well as turn it up even more with c16. This is our basic kit, Just like the 100+ quads that are already out there.

So if your looking for a good time, with a truly proven product, Jump on the "D" Train because we are blasting through a riding area near you soon!:D

There is no lag at all. We have a turbo that boosts super fast it has a few down falls when running on a stock quad. First with the waste gate full open it makes 15psi. and will boost 35+ psi. Not good when 7-14 psi range is all someone is looking for.
Second without timing control the high part throttle timing with a super fast spooling turbo creates detonation problems.
Third the other turbo makes tons of torque super fast and a stock motor can't handle it.

Also keep in mind a big single is nothing like a multi cyl. boosted. Altitude makes a big difference were at 4500ft.

This is the same set up I run on my duner. Smooth power for riding. Load it and she runs like a raped ape.

So what is the next logical engine mod after a turbo on the stock motor? Does a guy go with a stroker crank? Big bore? Cam? Timing control? What upgrade compliments the turbo kit?

Thanks

engine/trans.
head work, Small stroker , Dbl key crank/flywheel, Transmission, clutch , timing,

But before all the above....Set up. Gearing, wheels/tires, suspension.....And the most important thing The Jockey....:)

The motor build is only part of the battle. Jockey and set up are huge. Our white build most of the time is untouchable at our hill. In Oregon spinning tires out of the hole, front end in the air on the big end , jockey missing shifts, Not to mention the jockeys 30+ psi pass at 33degs. if timing off the trailer....
