Does anyone here have a DID chain? I'm trying to get the master link in, which according to the directions is the "clip style" (it has a clip instead of riveting it). But with the o-rings in there, I can't (not even with vise grips) get the thing squeezed in enough to get the clip into the grooves...

Am I missing something?

Order a chain press from Rocky Mountain. They have a Tusk one for right around $10. I just put a new chain and sprockets on mine and it went on like a breeze. Just don't bother with the Tusk chain breaker. Mine snapped in half right after I got finished using it.

LOL, I used a grinder to cut mine. :thumbsup:

The chain press is a must, but if you're in a bind just remove the rubber o-rings from one side of the masterlink and you should be able to get it to snap together.
