does anyone have a opinion on the use of a dyno to set you dobteck map. i can't get the different companies to give me a map because i have a je piston and stage 2 cam. they all say to get it dynoed. it runs good with just guessing at the four screw settings, but i can't help woundering if i could dammage anything or worse yet am i not getting all the hp that is possible.

I Think you answered this yourself. the dyno folks can do a start up or baseline run and do thier thing and you can see the improvements

Dyno testing is the only way to insure you have the right air fuel ratio.

Dobeck is more for your average person that is gonna pull the lid off the air box, do an intake and a pipe. Im not saying you can not tune your bike with that programmer, but the adjustments are very basic.

Once you start making more mods, a Dynojet Powercommander can make a difference with drastic airflow changes. The increments are 250rpm apart, and widely tuneable.
