Ok I have had my Raptor since september and the fan has only come on twice since I got it. This is on a 07 and thought the fan connector thing was fixed on the 07's.
i got mine in last march too, i though something was wrong with it from the start because it never came on.
not until i was dooing donuts in a field during the heat of july did it finally come on. and i've only heard it come on a couple of times since. i only ride it hard for short stints though. long rides are usually more casual.
Mine too, never once heard it come on and I even fixed the fan connection problem. Ill get worried when it gets 115 here and Im out riding for 3 hours and I never hear it but for now I think its just a good cool running machine. 8)
I had problems with mine after a long run up a cinder hill, the bike decided to puke green. The fan was not working as everything was boiling over. Brought it to the shop and it has worked after that.
The fan connection thing was fixed. Raptors have a very high temp setting for the fan. Some people hardly ever have theirs come on, its all going to depend on how your ridding, temp outside, etc..
