have some fcr 39's, they have been used on the bike for a few years, tore bike apart to fix a water leak and after a month put them back on.. Used to just bump the starter and the bike would fire off, now have to give it about 1/4 throttle to get it to fire and stay running. Took off bowls and jets and hosed them down with carb cleaner and upon re install they fire off bout the first hit then requires cranking and holding the throttle to get to run.... What gives?

We checked cam timing and it seemed fine with the marks, getting good spark, just seems like a carb issue and not real sure where or what the idle circut is on the fcr's.

any tips or pointers?

Did you clean out the air jets in the front of the carb really well?

Took them out and sprayed them down. Looked clean in the light.
