Now if someone put the bolt in from the opposite side it would thread in and tighten up.. the bolt will actually seat into the groove of the splined shaft so the pedal will not fall off. Make sure that someone did not make that mistake.. If that is not the case.. you may need to take a thin curf file and take some material out from the gap between the top and bottom of the gap that the bolt tightens up to let the lever clamp down tighter.. Check that..
No its not the shifter sliding on the splined end of the......."shifter rod"?, It's the whole shifter rod and foot shifter, with just a little bit of play in and out. Not sure if thats supposed to be normal or not?
