Ok so I replaced my front wheel bearings a few months ago. Problem solved, right? Wrong. My lock nuts are tight and the wheels both have play in them now. Bearings are still greased and look good. What am I missing here? Is there something im not doing? Why are they coming lose?

Are you sure it's the hub that's moving and not the rod ends on the a-arms, or the tie rod?

Are you certain the bearings were seated agienst the shoulder of the hub? Not that they have shifted in where they belong.
Are the spacers in the correct order?

When I put the wheel bearings in eveything was fine. I also replaced the tie rods. I have not replaced the tie rod end though. How do I check them to find out if they need replaced?

I was getting ready to suggest that. Mine were bad too. I replaced mine with the pivot works bearing kit.
