Guys,

I got my 2005 yfz socks off yfzcentral.com for 180 shipped almost brand new. No problems at all. Thanks to insanoman, Now I need to set them up!! Both screws are out all the way and the preload shows about 3 threads on top of the rings. I am 185 lbs and do mostly track with some trail stuff. Any Advice on the screws???

Thanks again to all for your help.

A couple links for you.
As for the adjuster screws, turn them in 2 or 3 clicks before riding. Don't ride with the adjusters all the way in either, 2 or 3 clicks there also. I think one of these articles will tell you that it's possible to bend the needle valve in the shock if there rode like this.
As for adjusting them, start with counting the number of clicks of adjustment, may make a note of this too.
The compression you may start with about 1/3 in, if it has 21 clicks turn in 7, as an example. If you bottom out to often try a couple more clicks. If you don't boottom out over the biggest jump back it out a click or two.
The rebound I try a bout half way in and see how it feels, If it's bouncy turn it in more.
