So ive had my eye on this raptor 700 with a gytr exhaust for a bit now and im all about mid range and high end power so id like to know where the powerband lies on this thing before considering buying it thank you!

Exhaust is not going to affect it unless you get into heavy porting and high compression. Assuming the bike is all stock except the exhaust, the power band will be very low. You need to get a hotcam 3 and a high compression piston and you’ll be happy.

Removing the air box lid and adding an exhaust will give you more power at all rpm's. Your engine will have the same power curve, just more power everywhere. That exhaust is good for the stock cam as the stock cam is for low rpm power. There are better exhaust, but will take away some bottom end and give more at high rpms. Check out Curveo Racing on YouTube, he has some dyno videos that may help you decide on what you want.
