i have a raptor 700 gytr, the shocks on are yzf 450 shocks,
the problem im having is getting these set up for my riding style and weight
i would appreciate any help in doing this from scratch

my riding style is trails with woods/ small jumps, small bumps, fast riding, i feel every small bump at the moment.
my weight is 220

i can feel every bump/ my arms ache i want to be able to skim over the small bumps when riding fast. i feel like im doing to much work on the bike on trails because of the suspension setup.

would appreciate the help gents

I am doing the same thing with my 450 shocks. I'm about the same weight and do about the same type of riding. I know the rebound and compression are a little more with trial and error with how it feels. I haven't found any thing on setting the preload up. How is your compression? Is it more on the harder side cause that would cause it to be harder or you have to soften the spring up a little. I know your so post to set it to a certain amount of sag so its not to hard and not to soft.
