Had the 450 out at raptor rally this weekend, got spanked hard repeatedly. I beat a lot of guys with 3 mod or minor builds off the line, but they blow past me as I'm topping out 3rd gear. It's just a big 3 bike plus yz timing.
Looking for recommendation for a place to have some work done locally in the Eugene Oregon area. Not looking to do anything big, sb/ss. Porting, cams, and maybe a bit more compression. Want to keep it running pump gas 92 octane.

What is a good cam set for general dune riding/hill shoots?
How much compression is pump gas safe on these?

You could also use WR cams and crank also for added pep. Pump gas should be safe up to 13:1, but you could do 12:5:1, or 12:1 to stay on the safer side.

Cuervo is west of JC a little bit. 20 minute drive or so. Redline racing in Sweet Home might do 4 strokes, i dont know. The banshee guys love them.
My go to favorite shop is in Springfield. Say hi to Branden and Shaun over at Black Label, they know tons and will know the best people for specialty stuff like heads.

Talked to Daniel at Cuervo, he suggested to just start lightening the drivetrain and leave the engine alone. I think that's the route we'll go, until we decide to get another 15+ 700 😉

Tires, wheels, hubs, axle, sprockets/chain, brake.
It has pretty heavy tires right now (Itp sand stars on Itp ss cast wheels) and all stock components. You can save a lot of rotating mass in a hurry.
