Im looking for a decent helmet, and goggles. Found a deal on eBay (I know), and they have good reviews. It's a China knock off, but says it's DOT certified. What do you guys think?

cheaper version below, but in flat black..

They either say unbranded, or AOHUA brand. I know that a lot of times you can get something of "decent" quality from China on the cheap. So looking for some input. Anyone else tried these? Got other suggestions, places to go online?
Thanks

I've got a Bell Star Carbon and Shoei RF1100 for my bikes, so I know it would be a massive step backward in quality. Just don't know if I'm willing to drop 4 or 5 bills on the helmet/goggle set up I'd likely prefer. Anyway, speak up! Lotta lurkers around here, Lol

I bought my helmet on "closeout" from Rock mountain ATV. I has worked perfectly! heres thew link to it. https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/4682/44063/Fly-Racing-Kinetic-Block-Out-Helmet-2015

here is a link to the closeout helmets on rocky mountain.

But I agree with 500+ dollars for them isn't right, don't get me wrong I never ride without my helmet I know the dangers and how insane it is to not have on a helmet. But I just don't have that kind of money, especially when "last years" helmets are being sold for 40-90 bucks, ya know?

Thanks guys. I started veering away from that first one pretty quick. It's funny you mentioned Fly Andon, cause I think I'm getting the F2 Carbon Fastback (blue, white, black) below, unless i come across something else. I'll check the RM close outs now.

Any input on some quality goggles?

I stopped buying expensive goggles once I found a few inexpensive ones that work well. Now I ride with these Scott's and swap lenses depending on conditions. The blue chrome is great for bright sun on the dunes. They don't fog up on me and they have yet to scratch.

Damn.. Looks like all the Fly's are one sale except the Fastback series. Oh well.. I wouldn't be paying too much more than the RM closeout prices going through Riders Discount. Mike's helped me out with parts for my bikes and quads for years. I highly recommend doing business with them btw.

Cool, thanks. I wasn't sure if there were certain ones that worked better for anti-fogging. I know with paintball masks (especially here in FL), when i switched from a single lens crap mask to a dual pane lens VForce Grill the difference was astounding. In either sport the last thing you want is fog creeping up in your site. But I guess the big difference between the two are that your breath is out of the way here, so probably not as big of a deal. Haven't seen anything in the way of dual pane lenses for MX goggles, just coatings. So I assume its more just about preference of style and fit, with maybe some having better venting here and there.

Yeah man, I'm interested to see how well the fire iridium lens works. Comes with a dark grey lens already. I didn't go all out on the goggles. Got some Oakley MX Proven's. Didn't see them any cheaper than $50, so actually ordered them straight from Oakley for free shipping. Man for the $ that company makes they really need to give thier site a complete overhaul. Lotta clunky, redundant and mislabeled stuff there. Was surprised.

I know you have the same Scott lenses I have, but where do you find the blue chrome lenses to fit? Or, did you buy new goggles?

I have the 89 series, OTG.
