hey guys hoping to get some help, so a few weeks back my rear sprocket came off and the chain busted my reverse and neutral switch as well as the wire that leads to them. I installed both a new neutral and reverse switch but didn't think about the wire, once I had them installed I left the wire disconnected from the switches and now it doesn't want to go into reverse, i tried contacting the wire but its pretty damaged so I can't really secure it. Anyone know if the wires have to be connected in order to put it in reverse? Or is there something else wrong? Its a 2007 raptor 700 thanks!!!

Didn't notice any weird noises but its possible it broke some of the internal gears. It did break both the nuetral and reverse switch if thats what you mean, but I replaced both

Take the reverse cable loose, and try holding the lever, engaged, while going into reverse.
