Hesitation when wot
Hey guys, I need some help regarding an issue I’ve always had. When riding my bike around 1/4 throttle and then immediately hitting wot there’s some hesitation. It’s about a second delay before it starts making power and accelerating. The carb is clean it’s only ever been out once and all I remember doing was the needle and seat tab because it was leaking fuel at the overflow could that be the issue? The only mod I have on it is a slip on exhaust and it’s running a bit lean although this problem was around when it was had no mods done. Anybody can pinpoint exactly what would cause this hesitation? Important to note: it doesn’t matter how much on the throttle you are the moment you hit wot there’s a delay before it makes power.

What needles do you have and what clip position are the needles clipped at?
I'm not too sure,I'm not too knowledgeable of carburetors but I'm going to take it to a carb shop along with a bigger jet kit so that they can tune it for me. Im sure all the jets are still the same from factory.What needles do you have and what clip position are the needles clipped at?
That will be 100% pointless. Needs to be on the bike to properly get it dialed in.

Guys, the needle you were talking about should I raise the clip up or down?
Just checked the needle and the clip is all the way at the bottomGuys, the needle you were talking about should I raise the clip up or down?
update on the whole situation, I’m not sure what I did wrong but it’s way worse now nothing is smooth, especially in that same area where it would hesitate. Now there’s a noticeable popping and longer hesitation before it makes power. Could it be possible I swapped the main jets around? im pretty sure I installed the needle back in correctly. Plastic washer,e-clip,metal washer,spring everything seems about right but she’s riding way worse.
