Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum, last week I got myself a new 700SE and after a couple of night rides I notice that the stock headlights are average at most.

After searching a little bit in theres forums most recommendations were pointing at HIDSRUS.

Since it looks like the page its down I'm looking for alternatives, pretty much a plug&play solution is what I'm looking for, nothing too complicated.

Any recommedations would be appreciated.

Thanks

There’s a thread on this if you scroll down a little, another member recommended these

You’ll have to splice your wires together, they aren’t plug and play

The owner of HIDSRUS was struck & killed by a car not long ago, I’m not sure they’ll ever be back online

I'd and did exactly what sixpack mentioned. Ridgid 10" with a handlebar mount. Then purchase some led bulbs to put in stock location.
I dont remember what ones i got but I think they were on Amazon or ebay. You can look at my profile photo to see the light bar

The quality of the light is also dependent on the light housing and lens. This is why the brighter bulbs (in the factory housing) do produce more light than stock but its not the same quality of light as a good quality lightbar.
Another vote for a lightbar and bracket.
