I'd like to order the HMF headpipe to go with my sport slip-on but am curious about the heat shield issue. Is there one included or available, and if not, is one needed? Thanks.

HMF does offer a carbon fiber heatsheield. It looks and works great.

Yea you can get one, I dont run one. Really have never needed it.

head pipes with no heat shield, just have a welder put two small nuts on it and buy the appropiate screws and youre done. six pack of beer will take care of it!!!

Will the GYTR headpipe match up with the HMF sport slip-on without any problems? I like the idea of being able to use the factory heat shield.
