I was wondering what people thought of these two exhausts?

I have the HMF Sport.. and i'll tell ya, it has a sweet low tone, and when you get on it, she really barks, it really improved my low-mid range.. I hvae no experience with the Curtis.
Tough for me to guess. I run the Sparks, but never ran an HMF pipe. FWIW, the Sparks pipe is loud (my buddies say it cracks like a harley) and and pulls very steady through the entire RPM range. You will definitely feel an increase in power with either.

any chance of pics of that sparks?
The sparks cracks like hell and I love every second of it. I've never heard an Hmf pipe so I can't speak on it. Believe me, you will not be disappointed with the sparks big core system. www.sparksracing.com 8)

sparks said not to run the big core in the 700r, anyways those LTE's are still floating around there.dam decisions.
I love my Sparks Pipe. Great Power, through the whole band. I think I made the right choice.

Those of you with Sparks Pipes, what are you doing for heat shields. I am tired of burning little holes in my pants. If HMF has heat shields or can use the factory heat shields, then that might sway you.
I ordered the sparks big core, pro design intake w/ kn, and PC III from fual moto. I cant wait to have it all here for thanksgiving weekend. and to feel the response everyone is talking about. If anyone is running this setup, what map are you running? air filter lid on/off, and the blue cover on off. I am running mine on cause i ride mainly dunes.

One of the reps at sparks racing told me the big core was the only way to go. Why would they make the big core available for the 700 and turn around and tell the customer not to buy it. Had my big core for a year and not a problem out of it yet. Cbase31, no I'm not doing anything for heat shields and I've yet to burn anything. 8)
I see what you are talking about but I didn't see a reason for them saying that. If I was you, I'd give them a call and ask and then call sparks and let them know about what worldwide performance is saying. :grin_nod: 8)

where did you order yours?
I ordered directly from sparks racing. If I recall, my pipe, filter and PCIII cost $1030 shipped to carolina. I called sparks last night and one of the guys told me the big core made half a horsepower more than the standard core. He also mentioned something about an ignition system coming out the really helped the 700r make more power all the way to 9000rpm. 8)
