I got the stem but diffrent bars.
think I answered something about this anyway.
I am running the houser stem with the flexx bars . the bars are 14 degree atv bend
the stem is 2" over. you will need housers anti-vibration mounting style for the steering stem
and you will need the clamp for 1 1/8" oversize handle bars
I also used housers pitman arm as well ..Helps with bump steer
and if you want to go all the way
precisions steering damper is the way to go
this is a shot during the install

I'm using a +1" stem with 14 degree bend. Close to stock yamaha bend. Love it!
so the 3/4 to 1 inch stem and flex bars wont hit the tank?? how about the cables, you need longer ones?
please don't say i need a + stem with flexx bars.

just ordered my new bars...

No you dont need the stem right away Im runnig the same bars on a stock stem
No problems but getting a longer stem soon because bars sit kinda low ;)
nice.
might be a good fit for me since i'm kinda short.

thanks

ITs all good on tha hood ! :wootwoot:
I have the +1 houser and it just clears the tank by about 1/8 inch. I have 12 degree MX bend bars. I like them a lot. A little wider for leverage and the bend helps me sit further forward. I like to sit right up close to the tank.
