So I have this idea I don't know if someone tried it or have it. The idea is to add speakers to a raptor 700 it would be cool to have them like a rzr driving and listening to music tell me what you think of the idea ?!

Unless you are able to legally ride on the streets I see no use for it. I know some of the Polaris guys have systems on there mud machines. Still seems odd to me. With a helmet on and ripping down trails I just can't see it being useful or needed. It's also just one more thing creating noise pollution for those already against our sport. I get plenty of entertainment from just the ride itself.
I'll be 100% honest! it's a shit idea :icecream:
I doubt the electrical system has enough overhead to power any decent amount of sound. And the small atv batteries won't last long... you'll just end up stranded with a dead battery
Sometimes I wear wireless Bluetooth headphones under my helmet. Works fine and is easy.
Look into the Jawbone Mini Jambox. Puts out lots of sound, it's small, is Bluetooth and can be mounted with straps. Don't know if it would be loud enough to hear while riding, with a helmet on and over the noise of the motor but it would be more than loud enough to hear when you are stopped.

Here is the one I bought and where I'm thinking about mounting it. My Flexx bars have the perfect spot for it.

You should try it and tell us what you think if it is possible to hear while your riding that would be great
I'll let you know in May when I ride it again. :p

If I'm a live ?
I put a boom box with batteries strapped down on my grab bar before. We were going on an adventure. One friend had a cooler of food the other a cooler of drinks. Take breaks eat drink smoke and jam out. I tried listening while I rode and this thing had 2 10" speakers with mids and tweets. I couldn't barely hear it over my exhaust unless I was going slow. Ear buds are the way to go for me. Good luck though. I'd love to see a finished product that works well.
Ya I think all I want to hear when I'm riding is the sweet sound of those duals ringing in my ears!!!
IN my opinion that's stupid. I love
The sound of my raptor especially when I'm revving it up and just rippppin it up. I have a few buddies that ride with headphones. I have never done it, thought about it once
But said screw it.

Can you even hear the music while riding without Blowing out your ear drums? Unless you guys are just riding leisurely and a slow pace.
Lol

About adding speakers being stupid lol
That speaker I have wouldn't be used while riding. When we are at the dunes, there are times when we go out to race in the evening. Between the racing we sit around visiting, flipping each other crap and telling lies. That's when I would use it.
just plain simple ear buds I can hear music easily while riding like a mad man and my exhaust is loud as hell.
