I just bought a 2007 raptor 700r, which is my first clutch being that I am 16, and as of now the only way I can start off is slowly by only giving it a little gas.......

My question is, how do you take off from a standstill as if you were racing? is it just pushing the gas at the same time as you let out the clutch?

with clutch held in put your bike in 1st or 2nd. give it 50-75% throttle, pop the clutch and hold on for dear life. put your nut sack on the gas tank too, will help keep the front end down

im guessing a surface that would be more likely to do that would be pavement?
yes pavement wouldnt be the ideal surface to start off on. loose dirt or even mud would be good to practice on.

If the front end gets out of control use the rear brake to bring it down.
Let your foot rest on the rear brake just in case.
