Merry Christmas all. Was hoping for a little help for a new guy:)
I was troubleshooting a bad ignition switch(main key switch) on my 06 700r. I accidently shorted the 2 wires that go to the key switch(i had already cut the switch away) against the header. It blew, and I replaced a 30a main fuse. All of my other fuses were good
I still don't have a good ignition switch, but i thought i could simply twist the 2 ignition switch wires together and be able to start. Now if i twist them together I get nothing(no lights, fuel pump, etc).
Am I wrong about be able to hotwire by simply twisting the 2 ignition switch wires, or is something else wrong??
