I am lookin at a 2006 raptor 700, it looks pretty clean, and im told it has low hours. As far as I know its all stock except a complete gytr exhaust. does this quad need a fuel controller if it has a pipe? what should I look for to make sure Idont buy someone else P.O.S.?
Thanks in advance
Bill

check the frame above the footpegs at the curve. they crack there if they were jumped alot/too high. Not a worry with "normal"use.... just not meant for sx type jumps...good luck!

it should deff have a fuel controller with full exhaust. but if it has a stock filter with a lid on the airbox its prob ok. I have a 06, it was stock when i got it. No problems and i love it!

Is it a full or slipon? A full pipe imo needs one that's my 2cents. Look for scratches on the top of brake resivior and clutch if there is then its probably been rolled look @ stress marks in plastic, bent/ tweaked sub frame, steering stem, a arms, wheel camber for starters
