i have a 2005 raptor 660 with an aftermarket pipe. i was wondering what should the jets specifactions be? the service manual says main carb 1#140 and main carb 2 #145. should i just stick with the what the service manual says?

If you put the new pipe on and it runs good, then i would just leave it alone.

The service manual is specifying the stock jetting, you need more than that because you're not running stock parts anymore.

Check the "jetting that works" sticky and see if you can find a similar setup to what you have.

Without knowing everything that you've got and how it's configured, we can't make any recommendations.

the pipe is a white brothers pro aluminum. the pipe is empty, there is no baffle at all. the headers are stock. as you look at the quad the right jet is 148 and the left is 146.

146L/148R DG mains (which is what it sounds like you have) are intended to be used with a full aftermarket exhaust system including headers and muffler (not just a slip on muffler with stock headers) with the airbox opened up or the lid removed. Are these the mods you have?
