I'm redoing a carb on a 01 raptor 660 I bought. It has a full yoshimira exhast set up. Airbox lid is on but it has a flap cut out and k&n filter. The carb has bin torn apart alot and the jets are banged up and i just wanna replace it all. I can see that the pilot jets are #25 and I believe that's good for the set up but I cant figure out what the other jet sized are.
Buy a Dynojet kit
it's worth it just for their needles(which have a better taper on the tips than stock), and cannot be bought seperately.
It will come with several mains to choose from.
Mods and elavation will cause jet sizes to vary.
Keep the #25 pilots.
The right main jet will also always be one size higher than the left.
Search for and do the "clear tube method", otherwise, the floats' heights will not be correct.
With lid on and full exhaust, I would try 150-155 mikuni main. If you take lid off then 160-165 mikuni mains. That is 142-144 and 146-148 respectively in dynojet numbers if I remember correctly.
