I just installed FMF Q4 muffler with the FMF Power Bomb header on my 250. I know I should open up the intake and rejet to take advantage of the larger exhaust. What does anyone reccomend? We mostly do desert riding so I am thinking of a Uni-Filter, but do I need to do any mods to the airbox? What jet size? How do you know if you are running too lean or too rich? I'm a newbie, but trying to learn

If I was you I would get that intake off Ebay that ditches the whole airbox and gives the straight path to the carb with the K&N on the end of it. With a new exhaust you should be running lean. Looking at the plug, tan-white is lean, black-brown is rich, and a golden brown is right where you want to be.

I would get the FMF power up jet kit...I pretty much have the same full exhaust as you and the jet kit makes a difference...as far as the air box, just take the lid of and get a K&N, since you are not in a wet terrain that combo will work wonders
