three things you can do to increase your tire life is:
#1 - never store tires on concrete - lime in the concrete will eat tires, use a piece of plywood
#2 - Cover your tires even in your garage - flourescant lights give off ultra-violet rays (TANNING BEDS) just like the sun does cover them up

Never put chemicals on tires, it may make them look better but most chems are oil based and oil is a large ingredient in tires which will dry up the sidewalls.
Just my opinion.
OBTW......dont look in my garage......#1 & 2 are poorly addressed there!
