Im trying to figure out what the cheapest way to get a key for it, I was thinking of getting a locksmith to get me one....does anyone know about how much it would cost?or what should I do?

Used replacement switch and key on eBay. Until then, just short the red and brown wires together, that's all the switch does.

do you have the key code in your paperwork?

cheapest thing to do if you don't have the key code, purchase a used ignition w/ key on ebay or on the forums i think.
