The way you adjust it for your bike is to turn the screw all the way in. Turn it out about 1 turn so the bike will start, now slowly turn the screw out. The idle will smooth out and start to pick up. You want to stop where the idle is at its smoothest, fastest rate. As soon as you notice the idle to slow down a little just back the screw up wo where it was idling the fastest and you are set.
If you have to go more than 4 turns you need to go up one on your pilot jet and do it again.
