Thats what I did! With the DrD reverse lever and Fasst flexx bars
I moved the key to where the reverse is on the fender. Works!!

ya i want to know how you did it i tried to build a bracket for it but couldnt get it to work
i could not bend it to fit under the fender and get the switch in
how involved was the dr d install? it says on my directions i have to remove the skid plate- hope not

Matt,

I didn't need to pull my plate to install the DR D lever. Make sure you're smart about routing the cable and you should have no problem gettting it in.

I have my front plastic off so I will shoot a pic of how I did mine. The hole in the fender is tapered so you have to make some sort of shim.

I put mine on the bar clamp see image below
but I put my buds where the old reverse was on the fender
just drilled the hole in the DR.D block off plate
and took one wire tie off to route the key to the fender
sorry I did not get to wash the beast after the riding this weekend

Hey Hippy,

Did you make the bracket for the ignition, or is that what is under the white plastic on the Raptor 700? I am out of town or I would check mine. I want to buy and install the flexx bars and I wanted to know if I should buy a reverse lever or not. I like what you did better.

Thanks-
about the DR.D reverse lever is a sweet mod
I highly recommend it

Man O man... how about washing that pig??? ;)

ps...I like the flex bars!
Trail Tech makes a bar clamp / key console that may eliminate the need to move the switch. They have models to fit bot 7/8" and 1 1/8".

This one is for the 660 but they have one for the 700 too.

BJH - Did these bar mounts bolt right on to the stock stem? Any issues? I read a horror story of someone having to replace the steering stem to accommodate the Fasst bars but I am wondering if they made a bad choice when choosing bar clamps. I wonder if they bought a bar clamp that didn't work with the stock stem.
