My quad only has a HMF muffler so I did what they said and dropped the needle clip 1 spot. Im thinking about getting a k&n/adapter/ outerware/jet kit from ebay. The jets that come with it are: 157.5, 160, 162.5, 165, 170 & 25 pilot.

I live/ride from 700-900ft above sea level
What jets should I start with to get me in the ballpark?
I assume put the needle back to middle position?

I got a spare carb that has 22.5 pilot, 70, 142.5 main jet, those would be stock then

I would think that a 25 Pilot jet would do the trick ...
I'm running a full Yosh exaust with a Prodesign air intakesystem and a 150 main and 25 pilot is good on my son's 04 Raptor 350 !
For what it's worth,i replaced the K&N filter with a Prodesign dual foam air filter with the billet adaptor, same setup as i have on my KFX and it's much better at filtering dust than the K&N filter ...

Cheers !

I used a 22.5 pilot with 3.5turns on the screw and a 157.5main. It ran great at rumble on the ridge last Saturday. I havent looked at the plug yet, everything is covered in mud an inch thick.

Is 3.5turns on the pilot screw too much? should i bump up the pilot jet?
